Integrated Program in Regional Studies and Spatial Analytics

This Integrated Program in Regional Studies and Spatial Analytics is designed to provide students with insights and applications in spatial theory and analytical approach in the context of physical and economic spaces. Students are fully exposed to trans-disciplinary collaborations of diverse theoretical frameworks of economic, geographical, environmental, management, and political systems, with heavy emphasis on mathematical models and quantitative methods. This Integrated Program is available for students enrolled in graduate programs in the following departments:
Agricultural Economics and Rural Development (Regional Information Studies), Geography Education, and International Agricultural Development and Cooperation. At least six credits must be obtained within this program, and core courses are taken in two seminars on theory and methodology in regional studies and spatial analytics. Selection of courses depend upon academic interests and major department from among a rich array of m확인ore than 60 courses in the participating and relevant Departments.
