Overview
The Department of Biosystems & Biomaterials Science and Engineering integrates biotechnology and engineering. Biosystems engineering focuses on optimizing biological production and bio-processes across biomechanics, bio-sensors, and bioinformatics. Meanwhile, biomaterials engineering emphasizes developing eco-friendly, biodegradable materials, biomaterials for artificial organs, and biochips through advanced life science and materials engineering.
