College of Agriculture and Life Sciences Holds ‘Teacher’s Day’ Event Inviting Emeritus Professors
To commemorate Teacher’s Day, the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences at Seoul National University held an event on May 14 inviting emeritus professors. Several emeritus professors from various departments of the College participated in the event, enhancing the occasion.
The event began with a welcoming address from Dean Jang Pan-sik of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences. He stated that the development of the college—including academic facilities and new building constructions—was made possible thanks to the dedication and efforts of the emeritus professors. He expressed deep gratitude for their unwavering interest and support.
During the proposal session that followed, various suggestions were made regarding the development process and the future direction of the college. The event concluded with a tour of Building 75, which was recently completed.
This event was a meaningful opportunity for emeritus and current professors to gather in one place, reflect on the history of the college, discuss its future direction, and engage in deep discussions.
