Student council event - Teacher's Day event, Spring Festival of the College of Agriculture and Life Science
On the occasion of Teachers' Day, the Students' Student Council of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences held a Teachers' Day event from May 13 to 14. Various events were held to convey respect and gratitude to the professors of each major, centering on the chairmen of each major.
At the event, department members, who had no opportunity to sit face to face and talk due to their busy daily lives, gathered to have a tea party or lunch together and had a harmonious time. Not only current students but also graduates participated in the event, meeting the professor for the first time in a long time and receiving good words of blessing. Some majors sang the Teachers' Day song together. Throughout the event, everyone had a great time that they could not stop smiling.
Before the event was over, the students thanked the professor by giving him rolling paper, carnations, and gifts he had prepared. This event was a touching time for members of College to rethink the meaning of Teachers' Day.
The spring festival of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences was held on May 21 under the name of "Nongnong-ri, Gwanak-gu, Seoul" in the area of the college. The festival consisted of busking performances by clubs and students from the college along with booths of each department, drawing participation from many students.
Especially, the booths of this festival attracted a lot of attention from students for their impressive names reflecting the characteristics of each department, including the "Flower House" booth of the Department of Plant Production Science, which manufactures edible flower ade, the "Tree Guessing" of the Department of Forest Science, and the "Insect Model Collection Experience" of the Department of Applied Biology. Thirteen teams also participated in busking, and the festival was enriched by decorating various performances for about four hours.
With interesting booths and colorful performances, we hope that more and more students will participate in the College Festival, which is full of attractions.
