SNU CALS entered into an MOU with the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences on May 1, 2018. The Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences is a national-level research institute with the largest number of agricultural science & technology researchers in the nation. The two institutions shared ideas on exchanging research personnel and holding international exchange events before entering into the MOU. Mr. Suk-ha Lee, the Dean, and 4 Associate Deans from CALS and Mr. Mengshan Chen, Secretary of the Leading Party Group and 5 other representatives from the Academy participated in the signing ceremony. Afterwards, the representatives from the Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences visited facilities including NICEM. We hope that the two countries will be able to significantly advance their agricultural technologies in the future based on cooperation between these two authoritative agricultural research institutions.
