MOU with Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences, China

   SNU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) has signed an MOU with Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences (ZAAS), China.

   The MOU was signed by Dr. Hak Lae Lee, Dean of CALS and Dr. Meng Zhi-Qi, Vice President of ZAAS with the presence of Zhu Fuyun, director of international relations, Cai Leiming, deputy director of Institute of Quality Standards for Agricultural Products, Zhao Xueping, director of Center of Inspectoin and Testing for Agricultural Products of the Ministry of Agriculture from ZAAS and Prof. Jin-Yong Choi, associate dean of international relations and Prof. Kim, Jeong-Han (Applied Life Chemistry) from SNU.

   ZAAS has a long history that spans over 100 years as a comprehensive non-profit agricultural research institution. It is located in Hangzhou of Zhejiang province which is agricultural hub of China. The academy is consisted of 15 research institutes.

   Based on this partnership, both institutions will be able to embark on collaborative initiatives in the assessment of standardized agro-products, safety of agro-product, pesticide and environmental toxicology, agricultural water management system, etc.
