Our college had an MOU agreement ceremony with the Kyoto University Department of Agricultural Science (corresponding to the College of Agriculture in the Korean system) on August 22nd. The dean of our college, Chyul-young Jyung, and his team visited Kyoto University on August 22nd and signed the MOU and the agreement for student exchange. After the signing event, the education/research/international collaboration support system of the Kyoto University Department of Agricultural Science was introduced. As Kyoto University is a highly prestigious school in Japan, we expect that our recent MOU agreement will enhance the research performance of our college and help advance its development.

Furthermore, on August 25th, they visited Dalat University of Vietnam and signed an MOU agreement. Dalat University is located in the Dalat region, which is the most fertile area in Vietnam with high productivity, and it has been receiving active support from the Vietnamese and Lam Dong Province governments that aim to foster agricultural research facilities and institutes for higher education. To help them establish an educational curriculum suitable for their local conditions, and the basis for nurturing research manpower by allowing Dalat University to benchmark the major educational curriculum and the research operation system of our college, professor Chang-hoo Jeon, Eun-jin Lee, and Wan-bae Kim have been supporting the establishment of a program strengthening the agricultural technology education in collaboration with Korea Testing and Research Institute since 2015. Through this MOU agreement, a new form of real international exchange project will be implemented between our college and other excellent universities in developing countries.
