MOU with Agricultural University of Athens, Greece

   SNU College of Agriculture and Life Sciences (CALS) has signed an MOU with Agricultural University of Athens (AUA), Greece.

   The MOU signing proceeded on October 1, with Dr. Hak Lae Lee, Dean of College of Agriculture and Life Sciences and Rector Constantinos Feggeros of Agricultural University of Athens at presence along with Prof. In-Bok Lee (Rural Systems Engineering) from SNU and Dr. Georgios Papadakis, Vice Rector of Financial Affairs & Development, and Dr.  Epaminondas Paplomatas, Vice Rector of Academic Affairs & Personnel from AUA.

   According to the agreement, both sides agreed upon the academic cooperation and student exchange, emphasizing the importance of developing substantial student exchange programs and research collaboration. SNU delegation also visited major research centers on-campus and other local farm facilities after the ceremony.

   AUA is the fourth oldest University of Greece, after the University of Athens, the National Technical University of Athens and the Athens University of Economics and Business. The University is divided into seven Departments and it has gained its academic recognition as one of the most distinguished agricultural universities in Greece.

   The agreement will help lay the groundwork for academic and research collaborations between the two institutions in overall agricultural and food management sectors. Above all, SNU CAL shall take a step forward to expand its partnership with agricultural institutions within the area of EU.
